Business Week ranks UNL MBA program fourth best in the nation.

Business Week measured the programs on academics and lifestyle, alumni affairs and careers, and a survey of students’ opinion about the program. A part-time program is defined as a program in which students can select the courses and number of credit hours each semester to fit their professional and personal schedules.

The UNL MBA program excelled in selectivity with an average GMAT of 623 with only 60% of applicants admitted. Completion rate is 89% and two thirds of students reported an increase in salary following graduation. At $247 per credit hour for Nebraska residents, the program is a great value. Another important measurement was the number of tenured faculty teaching in the program – 92% at UNL. The University of Texas reports only 32% of faculty are tenured. In the student comment section, one student said, “The program has great instructors at a selective university.”
