MBA student, Dan Hinds, was selected to be an honorary member of Phi Beta Delta. Phi Beta Delta is the honor society of international scholars, which recognizes significant contributions and leadership in international teaching and research. The society honors faculty and staff who have distinguished themselves in an international context and it recognizes students who have studied abroad or who have made a significant contribution to international education.

Michael Kistler - National President Phi Beta Lamda

Michael Kistler

Mike Kistler was elected national president at the Phi Beta Lamda national conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the UNL Phi Beta Lambda chapter received top honors, including recognition as an outstanding chapter. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association with a two hundred fifity thousand students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. Kistler graduated from the Raikes School of Computer Science at Management with highest distinction in May, and is now an MBA student at UNL. Over the past nine years, Kistler has been active in Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, serving in many local, state, regional and national officer positions, connecting businesses to the organization's members and working to make it a larger and stronger organization.

Ryan Brewster - On Assignment

Ryan Brewster

MBA Alum, Ryan Brewster is on assignment with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service as an agriculture adviser in Iraq to work in Diyala province helping with poultry and egg production for twelve months. The assignment followed a year of working for the Western Dairy Association. Pictured with Ryan is General Petraus.

Sean Golden - Fulbright Scholarship

Sean Golden

Sean Golden, a graduate of the Jeffrey S. Raikes School (formerly J.D. Edwards Honors Program) with majors in economics and business administration and minors in finance, psychology, and computer science, won a Fulbright Scholarship and will study cultural influences on risk preferences in Chisnau, Moldova.
